This professional development workshop is intended for professionals and graduates wishing to improve themselves as artists in a discipline. An up-to-date resume and a recent video will be requested upon registration.

  • Workshop 1: June 13th to June 23th 2022
    * Holiday – St-Jean Baptiste
  • Workshop 2 : June 27th to July 8th 2022
    *Holiday – Canada Day
  • Workshop #3 : July 11th to July 22rd 2022

*Schedules are organized according to the holidays. 

 

Available disciplines (limited spots)

You can only choose 1 main discipline per workshop.

Aerials (lyra/hoop, straps, tissu/silks, dance trapeze, fixed trapeze) | Chinese hoops | Handstands | Tight wire | Juggling | Hand to hand* | Chinese pole | German wheel | Cyr wheel | Trampwall | Trampoline | Acrobatics

* Disciplines in duo are offered only to those who register with their partner.

FEES

  • Workshop 1: $945 CAD
  • Workshop 2 : $945 CAD
  • Workshop 3 : $1050 CAD

* Fees are adjusted for holidays.

MODALITIES

Deadlines for registrations :

  • Workshop 1 – May 13th 2022
  • Workshop 2 – May 27th 2022
  • Workshop 3 – June 10th 2022

Registrations canceled before the respective registration deadlines for each course will be eligible for a full refund. For any cancellations made after these deadlines, please see our refund policy below.

REGISTER

You must submit your application by email and include the following:

  1. An up-to-date resume
  2. A recent video of a performance in your circus discipline. Send a YouTube link or transfer the video via wetransfer.com
  3. A short paragraph mentioning your objectives & motivations for following this specialized course

An acknowledgment of receipt of your file will be sent to you within 24 to 48 hours. When your application has been analyzed and deemed admissible by the ÉCQ, you will receive a new confirmation by email with all the details and access for your registration on the Qidigo platform.

Please note: All attendees will be required to adhere to health and safety rules relating to COVID-19 at the time of the workshop.

REFUND POLICY FOR OUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS

Cancelation by École de cirque de Québec

If one of the workshop is canceled by ÉCQ, the registered participant will receive a full refund of his registration fees.

Cancelation by the participant – before the deadline

Any participant who cancels his registration to a workshop before the respective deadline of the workshop in question will be eligible to receive a full refund of his registration fees.

Cancelation by the participant – after the deadline

Any participant who cancels their registration for the course after the registration deadlines but before the start of the course will be eligible to receive a refund. However, an administrative fee of 10% will be deducted from the invoice.

Cancellation by the participant – after the start of the course

Any request for cancellation made after the start of the course will be subject to an assessment.
